When watching a fierce world cup match, I like chew something to ease the tension inside me. Besides eating high calorie fried food like fish & chips, chicken & French fries, an apple pie is another healthier option for football fans, well, at least there is fruit in a pie.
So we are going to teach how to make apple pies for 4 portions with our commercial restaurant oven for your cooking.
Ingredients:
Flour: 250 g
Apple: 3 pieces
Butter: 150 g
Sugar: 80 g
Egg: 1 piece
Lemon juice: 1 cup
Steps:
1.Simmer butter 100 gram in frying pan at first and add beaten egg liquid while the butter is almost done melting.
2.Sieving 250 gram flour in fry pan
3.Adding 50 gram sugar in pan and mix the four ingredients together
4.Take out the pie dough roll a little bit and cool down in fridge for half to one hour
5.Prepare apples by chopping into cube pieces
6.Simmer butter 50 gram in pan gradually
7. Mix with 30 gram sugar and keep simmering until sugar is melt
8.Adding the apple cubes and simmering till become soft, then pour some lemon
juice as you like
9.Stir the apple and other ingredient softly then cool down for filling
later
10.Roll flat the pastry dough, take about 2/3 for the bottom of the pie,
flatten to about 3 mm thick
11.Place the dough neatly on the pizza pie mold
12.Fill in the mold with apple stuffing filling
13.Cover the stuffing with the rest of pastry dough, then coat a layer of
beaten egg liquid on top
14.Set up the oven, upper temperature 160 °C, bottom temperature 200°C, put
the pie mold in it and bake for 25~30 minutes.
