Pop Up & Make A Pancake to Re-energized Yourself

I like pancakes since I was in primary school. Every day after school, my friends and I would gathered around the pancake making cart and treated ourselves with pancake with assorted fruit jam. Pancake is like an energy re-filler after a long days study, now work.

Now people like make their own food, for we could add whatever ingredients we fancy, have a proper control of oil & sugar consumption to better manage our weight situation etc. So I would like to introduce a basic way to make a pancake.

Ingredients
1c all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 large egg
Vegetable oil for brushing pan

Directions
1 .In large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk, butter and egg; stir          until flour is moistened.
2.Heat non-stick pancake maker or griddle over medium heat until drop of water sizzles;         brush lightly with oil. In batches, scoop batter by scant 1/4-cupfuls into pancake making       machine, spreading to 3 1/2 inches each. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly and edges       are dry. With wide spatula, turn; cook 2 minutes more or until golden. Transfer to platter       or keep warm on a cookie sheet in 225°F oven.
3.Repeat with remaining batter, brushing griddle with more oil if necessary


   Not as difficult as you imagine right, lets spray berries, fruits, hot chocolate jam, honey or     whatever you like to DIY your own style pancake.
